Message it might be the profile or curvature of my wheels as you suggested.

I don't really feel comfortable telling you whether the setup that you are proposing will fit. When you get up to 9.5" fronts with 275's, everything is very tight, so a lot depends on which tires and wheels you are running. So far I only ran the Yokohama A032R and those seem to be a "narrow" 275.

When I say tight fit, the inside of the tire is millimeters from the suspension upright and on the outer I had to bend back the tabs that secure the inner fenderwheel plastic liner and also cut the liner for clearance. Granted that I had the car dropped a lot for the track. My friend who is currently using my wheels on the street, is not dropped and has no clearance issues at all. I am pretty sure with a standard Eibach drop, there would be no issues as well.
